3.9 liters, 6 rotors, just under 480rwhp.
Oh and some really uncomfortable looking seats.

Why is the oil can mounted between the seats?
Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing.

Phew - I was afraid that they were going to have used an E24, but I see that they used an ugly insult to the designation ‘M6'.

Seems like they spent a lot of money to accomplish very little. LS swap would have made significantly more power much cheaper.

Maybe they wanted to do something more interesting from an engineering perspective than yet another LS swap.

Guess they couldn’t find room under the hood for the dry sump reservoir.

This is a very interesting project that, unusually for me when it comes to interesting German Frankenstein projects, I have absolutely no interest in owning.

Also, it’s built by a rotary shop. It’s kinda what they do.

While I understand the engineering challenge behind this, they took out a 7700RPM screaming N/A V10 making 500HP and replaced it with a one-in-the-world 6-rotor making 478HP. And they used the bangled-up E63 body. How much are they asking for it? Too much is the answer.

You’re right, they did, and it’s awesome.
The rotary makes 478 at the wheels. S85 makes 500 at the crank.

It’s probably more reliable than the S85, which is pretty easy to do.

I mean the old engine had 500 crank hp, not wheel and the rotary probably spins really high too.

I think “really uncomfortable” undersells those seats. Did they run out of cash?

And apparently the car was a bare shell bought at junkyard. I assumed this when I first saw the pictures of the car though.

The engine is capable of more. The 480 hp was at limited rpm. It should probably make 800 hp at peak rpm.

Yeah, I’m sure it’ll make more, after reading up on it.

I’m late to this but if you call 7700 RPM “screaming” then I have some bad news for you on 10,000 RPM 6 rotors.
And yes, I saw the 5500RPM, but the post says they were sorting out fueling goblins while at the dyno,
